Scott Cherek: I visited the Community Advocates building to see the Muricio Ramirez mural, located at 728 North 6th Street, in downtown Milwaukee. The mural stands several stories in height, and covers the width of the building. It's colorful and artistic, although it's adjacent to a pretty popular parking lot, so you may have some obstructions if vehicles are parked in the lot nearby. Very cool and worth a visit and maybe a photo op. The buildings located to the south of the mural have some "time capsule" advertising painting from years ago in Milwaukee. They are also interesting to take a look at and appreciate.
Judy Love: Mr Polk is a God send! I applied for rent assistance due to financial hardship and my landlord kept saying they didn’t receive anything from community advocates. I came back to the agency very upset and he calmed me down and said he would personally reach out to my landlord and gave me the name of a contact person that I should reach out to at my landlords office. Within 24 hours, my landlord confirmed that community advocates did reach out to them and they filled out their part for assistance. I am so grateful because without his support, I may have missed out on the assistance that community advocates provides. I really appreciate everyone , especially Mr Polk
